Evaluation Criteria for Theses/Dissertations

Master’s Courses

Master’s theses will be examined against the criteria set forth in the Diploma Policy: if the submitted thesis has academic significance, novelty, creativity and applicability; if the degree candidate is able to explain the research results logically and make the research project progress; and if the degree candidate is widely knowledgeable in the research field and has high ethical standards.

Doctoral Courses

Doctoral dissertations will be examined against the criteria set forth in the Diploma Policy: if the submitted dissertation has academic significance, novelty, creativity and applicability; if the degree candidate is able to propose a research project, make it progress and explain the results logically; and if the degree candidate has a wide and deep knowledge about the research field and high ethical standards.
